About Parts of Speech

 

Hello, my dear friend, how are you? I hope you are fine.

Now I want to discuss about Parts of Speech. Because parts of speech very important in English Language.

Each word in a sentence is called parts of speech. They are 8 kinds.

Number 1. Noun means any kind of name. For example: The sky is blue.

Number 2. Pronoun means stands in place of noun. For example, we go to school.

Number 3. Adjective means describes nouns and pronouns. For example: you are good student.

Number 4. Verb means action something done. For example. I read a book.

Number 5. Adverb means how things are done. For example: he is a very good.

Number 6. Preposition express the relationship between noun and pronoun and some other words. For example: he came from Dhaka.

Number 7 Conjunctions means join two or more words, phrases or Clauses. For Example: he is poor but honest.

Numer 8 Interjections express the sudden feelings and emotion. For example: Hurrah! We have won the game. Hello! Where are you going.
